26K KW Series

The Husky 26K KW Series is the heavy-duty version of their rail-mount hitch line. Twenty-six thousand pounds of towing capacity for larger fifth wheels and toy haulers. Same rail-mount design that works independent of truck-specific puck systems.

Rail mounting means you install a set of rails in your truck bed first, then the hitch attaches to those rails. More installation work than puck-mount hitches, but you get flexibility - the rails work with any compatible rail-mount hitch and can stay in the truck if you upgrade later.

The 26K capacity handles serious weight. If your trailer is actually in this range, you need a hitch built to match. The KW series construction reflects the higher rating with beefier components and mounting hardware.

Good option if you do not have factory pucks or want the flexibility of rail mounting. For trucks that can accept rail installation - check specific requirements for your bed. If you do have factory pucks, puck-mount hitches are usually simpler to install and remove.
