The PullRite SuperGlide is an automatic sliding hitch. When you turn sharp enough that your trailer needs clearance, the hitch slides back on its own. When you straighten out, it slides forward again. You do not have to get out of the truck, pull pins, or remember to do anything. It just works.
This 16K model handles 16,000 pounds of trailer weight. It is designed specifically for short bed trucks where cab clearance is a constant concern. With a fixed hitch on a short bed, you are always thinking about how tight you can turn. With the SuperGlide, you just drive normally and let the hitch figure it out.
The automatic action is purely mechanical - no electronics, no air systems, nothing to fail. The geometry of the hitch and the forces from the trailer make it slide when needed. It has been refined over years of production and real-world use.
