Expert Take
This 32K M5 is the heaviest-duty puck-mount Reese makes, dropping into the Ford Super Duty factory puck system with no rails needed. The dual-jaw head grips the kingpin tight and tows with little chucking, but at this rating it's a big unit aimed at fully-loaded heavy fivers.
About This Product
The Demco M5 32K is maximum capacity with maximum convenience. Thirty-two thousand pounds of towing - enough for the heaviest residential fifth wheels made. Same self-aligning head that makes hookups foolproof even when you are not perfectly positioned.
At this weight class, you are pulling something substantial. Triple-axle fifth wheels, large toy haulers, whatever. The hitch has to be built to match, and the 32K construction delivers. Everything is heavier, stronger, and designed for continuous heavy use.
The M5 head design remains the star feature. The funnel shape catches your kingpin and guides it into position automatically. No fighting to line up perfectly, no multiple attempts. Back up close, let the geometry work, lock it down and go.
Different mounting bases available for different truck setups. Make sure you get the right base for your pucks, rails, or whatever system your truck uses. The head is common across all M5 models, only the capacity rating changes.
This is overkill for most people, and that is fine. If you actually need 32,000 pounds of capacity, you want overkill. No second-guessing the hitch when you are pulling a heavy load down a mountain grade.
