Don't forget: 7-way wiring
You'll need a 7-way trailer plug in your bed to connect your trailer's lights and brakes. Most trucks don't have this from the factory. Check your bed for an existing plug before ordering one.
Step 1: Install rails in your bed
You'll need mounting rails that bolt into your truck bed. We're still adding rails to our database — for now, check B&W, CURT, or Reese for rail kits that fit your truck.
Step 2: Pick your fifth wheel hitch
Once you have rails installed, any of these will work.
Step 3: Don't forget the wiring
You'll need a 7-way trailer plug in your bed. Check your bed for an existing plug before ordering one.
