About This Product
The MORryde GooseTech replaces your fifth wheel's factory pin box with a gooseneck coupler, so the trailer connects to a 2-5/16" ball in the truck bed instead of a fifth wheel hitch. It mounts in the OEM pin location using the existing bolt pattern.
MORryde uses a rubber shear spring rather than an air bag, which gives the unit 3" of fore/aft travel — the direction chucking happens — and makes it maintenance-free: no air pressure to check, nothing to grease, no adjustments. The coupler is a Demco eZ-Latch that auto-latches and has a remote release. Built in the USA, black powder coat finish.
Fitment is set by two things, and both have to match: your existing pin box's bolt pattern (Lippert 1116, 1621/1621SHD, 1716, or Rhino) and your trailer's GVWR band. Check the sticker or plate on your current pin box for the model number. If you're measuring, 2" between the holes vertically is a 1621 and 2-1/2" is a 1716 — but 1116 and 1716 look similar, so confirm with the serial number.
Safety chains are sold separately (MORryde part MR23MV, 3/8").
