About This Product
The Reese Goose Box replaces your fifth wheel's pin box with a gooseneck coupler, so the trailer tows off a 2-5/16" ball. Pull the ball and your truck bed is completely clear.
It's the only true air-ride unit in this group. Inside the belly of the box sit an air bag, dual shocks and rubber springs; the bag fills through an air manifold on top with an automatic relief valve so you can't overfill it. Because the air pressure is adjustable, the ride is tunable to your actual loaded weight in a way the fixed-rate spring designs aren't — and it's also the one design in this category with a maintenance item, since air pressure needs checking and a bag can eventually fail. It also offers extra height adjustment, which matters on taller truck beds.
Reese tests the Goose Box to exceed SAE J2638 and backs it with a limited lifetime warranty. Fits Lippert 1621, 1716 and 0719 pin boxes, the Lippert Rhino, and the Fabex PB 600 series.
This 94920 is the Gen 3 unit and supersedes the older 94716 and 94720 part numbers.
