Expert Take
Another 30K PowerRide puck-mount, sized for the heaviest fifth wheels and dropping straight into factory pucks. Plenty of tow rating at a fair price, but the fixed head transmits more road harshness than the cushioned premium hitches.
About This Product
The CURT PowerRide 30K for GM trucks brings the same massive capacity to Chevy and GMC owners. Thirty thousand pounds of towing, 7,500 pounds pin weight - the highest numbers you can get in a puck-mount hitch. If your fifth wheel is genuinely heavy, this handles it.
Drops into GM factory pucks with the quarter-turn anchor system. Different puck spacing than Ford, so this is specifically for Silverado and Sierra with the factory prep package. Same installation approach - drop in, quarter turn, done.
The self-resetting handle saves you a step on every hookup. Color-coded indicator shows coupling status. Head tilts in all directions for smooth towing. Interlocking jaws grip tight. Built-in wear plates mean no greasing.
One-pin removal breaks it into lighter pieces for storage. The total weight is substantial at this capacity, so being able to separate the head from the legs helps with handling.
For GM trucks with 8-foot beds and factory pucks. Short beds need a slider for proper clearance. This is the fixed version designed for long bed trucks where cab clearance is not an issue.

24K SuperGlide
The 24K SuperGlide is the gold standard for short-bed trucks, automatically sliding the hitch back when you turn so the trailer clears the cab without you touching a thing. It drops into factory pucks and tows incredibly smooth; the auto-slide mechanism is the trade you make on a slightly fussier install.
