The B&W RVK3405 Companion Slider is a 20,000-pound sliding fifth wheel hitch for short-bed GM trucks with the factory OE puck system. It drops directly into your bed pucks and slides back during tight turns to prevent cab contact.

Short-bed trucks need a slider. When you turn sharp, the trailer nose can swing into your cab. The Companion Slider moves backward during tight turns to create clearance, then slides forward again when you straighten out.
