The Reese Autoslide 21K in this configuration combines automatic sliding with popular capacity. Twenty-one thousand pounds for larger trailers, hands-free clearance for short bed trucks.
The automatic mechanism slides the hitch when turning forces require clearance, returns it forward when you straighten out. No manual intervention.
Installation is more involved than fixed hitches. Once in, the convenience of automatic sliding is worth it for short bed owners.
For short bed trucks only. If you have a long bed, save the money and complexity with a fixed hitch.
