The Reese 30899 is a puck adapter for trucks with factory fifth wheel prep packages. It converts your pucks to industry-standard rails so you can mount any fifth wheel hitch with tabbed feet. Rated at 27,000 pounds gross trailer weight.
Reese has been making towing equipment since 1952. They know how to build gear that lasts. This adapter features heavy-gauge steel construction that handles the stress of pulling heavy trailers without flexing or wearing out.
The adapter mounts directly to your factory OE puck locations. No drilling. No permanent modifications. When you want to remove it, quick-release pins let you lift the whole assembly out of the bed.
Once installed, the rails accept any industry-standard fifth wheel hitch. That includes stationary hitches for long-bed trucks and slider hitches for short-bed applications. The 27,000-pound rating handles serious trailer weights.
